I totally agree with your thoughts on how special marriage really is, and that it is way more then all the "trimmings" one can afford. Jerry and I went the simple route, and it was a fun, cherished and special time that we look back on. And you know what, we went to the Oregon coast( yes it did rain some of the time) and had a blast and that became our romantic destination for many years to come. God was the Guest, The Witness and The ONE who truly united us on that day, and we recently celebrated 28 years of marriage. Okay I am going to post again.
