Bobby Jindal can speak for the 14 million American’s out of work. I think, the President would prefer that everyone be dependent on government entitlements (it’s the Social Utopian way).
It is honorable to work. We’re Americans, we have aspirations, we work, and we achieve our dreams. American’s take care of themselves. This entitlement mentality is shameful. George Washington said, “I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it.” You think they had poverty back then? I’m pretty sure they did. He wasn’t callous to those in poverty. He had it right to not encourage the mentality that you need government to take care of you. Government is not God.
