Good for you guys (on the dental Nazi thing). And cute pics and funny toe flossing. That would be a good one to share with her future husband when she's all grown up I think.

I laughed and laughed at this post. As you can tell I am reading your past posts as past as I can. Hahaha
Anyway it's kinda ironic because I have had the same conversation with 2 people in the last several days how Starbucks coffee tastes like it is burnt. I can handle the flavored and blended drinks but drinking their coffee straight isn't happening for me.
We had a guy in Longview, Wa. who roasted his own beans, walking into his shop was intoxicating. His coffee was the best!
Needless to say we frequented his shop for coffee and to listen to him shout his devotion to the Oregon Ducks. Quack, Quack

We would love to go to Europe and tour castles, especially IRELAND, but not sure if that will even be a remote possibility. But it's always nice to dream.

And congrats to you both on your anniversary as well. :-)
I attended your wedding and thought it was beautiful.

Cathy,
I'm sorry they didn't let you in. They have a strict policy about that. I hope you do get a chance to visit. You'll enjoy it, I'm sure.

Thank you, you are too kind. The Blue Crab makes excellent sea food. www.bluecrab.ca It's right on the waterfront. And the Butchart Gardens is a must. www.butchartgardens.com A drive on Scenic Marine Drive during sunset is spectacular. They have a ton of museums and exhibits if that's your thing. We like the Royal BC Museum. I would also encourage you to get a map of downtown and greater Victoria. And of course you must do High Tea.
Yeah, we're still going to COGOP. We like it a lot.
Hope you guys have a good time.

Okay I am going to post again. I totally agree with your thoughts on how special marriage really is, and that it is way more then all the "trimmings" one can afford.
Jerry and I went the simple route, and it was a fun, cherished and special time that we look back on. And you know what, we went to the Oregon coast( yes it did rain some of the time) and had a blast and that became our romantic destination for many years to come.
God was the Guest, The Witness and The ONE who truly united us on that day, and we recently celebrated 28 years of marriage.

Mireya I really enjoy reading your musings so much. You do have a way with words whether you realize it or not.
Next spring Susie Bear and I plan on going to Victoria for a vacation. So any hints or tips would be appreciated.

One more question, you mentioned giving a tea for church ladies, do you still attend COGOP?
